Skipper Badenhorst has opted out of the
Namibian aide to the Rugby World Cup,
citing family reasons.
He will continue to be available for the Sharks
who have lost two hookers - John Smit and
Bismarck du Plessis - to the World Cup for
they will be heading for France with the
Springboks.
Corné Powell who originally was taken out
of the Namibian Rugby Team has now been
taken back after the news of
Skipper Badenhorst. The President of the
Namibian Rugby Union Mr Dirk Conradie and
Vise president Mr Bucks Bock announced that
Powell will be joining them for the RWC
